National Salutes the Military Trend for Fall!

Military fashion as a trend is nothing new in the fashion world, and I for one am embracing this trend for yet another season! I love all the greens, cargos, boots, tops, dresses, blazers, and coats that have taken on the military trend! This season's military merchandise is all about functionality and utility. Fashion designers have also found a way to combine femininity and military characteristics beautifully.

Some pieces that we love at National are our skinny cargos from Jbrand, Paige, Current Elliot, and AG. Personally, my Current Elliot cargos are one of my favorite pair of jeans that I own! Military jackets are also a must have for Fall 2010. We have amazing blazers from La Rok and Madison Marcus to name a few and light weight jackets by Havianas that are great.

The all time military trend winner at National goes to La Rok's rabbit fur lined parka that we have in store in a military green and charcoal. L.O.V.E this jacket!!! This jacket functions as a super warm coat and can also be a rabbit fur vest. The whole piece has 2 parts: a fur vest that is buttoned inside the military style parka. The fur vest can be unbuttoned from the parka part and looks great and like it's own piece when worn alone. Fur vest + amazing jacket: two separates or one amazing piece! Love it!

Genetic Denim has always been one of my favorite jean brands. They always feel great and look great. Worn by celebrities such as Katy Perry, Sienna Miller, and Lindsay Lohan to name a few, the brand is super celebrity driven.

As seen on celebrities like Audrina Patridge, Nicky Hilton, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Stefanie Pratt to name a few, Muubaa leather's are a must-have for the fall! This London based fashion label is known for their experimental leather treatments and their consistent new ways to mold, cut, and color leather.
